Patriots Path Council will be sending 124 Boys (and 16 Girls) Scouts in 4 provisional Troops to the National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. The Jamboree will be held between July 21-30, 2021 with a travel day on July 20th and it is expected that approximately 40,000 Scouts will attend from all 50 states. Over 20 Troop 1 Scouts attended the 2017 Jamboree at the Summit and universally reported having a great experience. Note that Council appoints all the Jamboree provisional Troop leaders and it is likely that none of those leaders will be from Troop 1. National Jamborees are held every 4 years so for many Scouts there is only 1 opportunity to attend "Jambo" during their Scouting career.
The Patriots' Path sign-up page for the 2021 National Jamboree is now active - it is very common that for large events like Jambo, Philmont, etc. that the sign-up process starts 18 months prior to the event. Slots will be filled on a first come first served basis (and all slots will be taken) so if you want to go, sign up ASAP. Cost is $1,780. Additional Information and sign-up page can be found here: https://ppcbsa.org/2021jambo/
The following trip is not taking additional sign-ups at this time. If crew slots open up then Scouts will be given an additional opportunity to sign up.
