Patriots Path Council will be sending 120 Scouts in 3 provisional Troops to the 2021 National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. The Jamboree will be held between July 21-30, 2021 and it is expected that approximately 40,000 Scouts will attend from all 50 states. Over 20 Troop 1 Scouts attended the 2017 Jamboree at the Summit and universally reported having a great experience. Note that Council appoints all the Jamboree provisional Troop leaders and it is likely that none of those leaders will be from Troop 1. National Jamborees are held every 4 years so for many Scouts there is only 1 opportunity to attend "Jambo" during their Scouting career.
Patriots' Path has created an interest sign-up page - it is very common that for large events like Jambo, Philmont, etc. that the sign-up process starts 18 months prior to the event. I'd encourage any Scout who might be interested in attending to get their names on the list ASAP as slots will be filled on a first come first served basis (and all slots will be taken). They are not collecting any money at this time. More information and the sign-up can be found here: https://ppcbsa.org/2021jambo/
The following trip is not taking additional sign-ups at this time. If crew slots open up then Scouts will be given an additional opportunity to sign up.
