Chester Area Senior Housing - Patio renovation This Eagle Project was designed to meet the needs of the residents at the Chester Area Senior Housing (CASH). The patio area was removed and relaid to address the dangerous uneven surface. To accommodate the residents' interests in gardening four large planting beds were designed and built at counter height. Lastly, two cedar patio chairs were built to provide additional seating.
Tranquility Garden - Creation of New Municipal Park in Mendham Borough
This Eagle Service project created a new walk-in park on Route 24 in Mendham Borough between Orchard Street and Hillcrest Avenue by redesigning, restoring and expanding a long neglected English Garden that had been acquired by the Borough. The project included excavation, restoration and expansion of the existing buried gravel pathways; the excavation, expansion and mulching of the existing planting beds; the repair and painting of the existing arbor; the addition of a new brick pathway and the addition of five new benches. Approximately 20 cubic yards of dirt and gravel was removed from the site.
Lewis Morris County Park - Garbage Dump Removal
This Eagle Service Project removed a trash dump dating back to the 1950's before the park was formed. An area the size of a football field was cleared of old toilets, bed springs, bottles, cans and car parts. A trail kiosk was built and installed for displaying information the park and the project.
NJ Audubon Society Headquarters - Entrance Path
This Eagle Service Project involved the construction of an entrance walkway and steps connecting the new NJ Audubon headquarters building and its parking area.
This Eagle Project created a fossil dig, an Indian drying rack, two benches and two trellis for the Mendham Township Elementary School Educational Garden.
Meditation Garden - Delbarton
This Eagle Service Project involved the clearing of ground, addition of new plantings and the construction of an arbor and benches for a meditation garden at Delbarton.
